What we service
Traction motors and integrated drive units: stator winding testing and insulation resistance, bearing replacement, resolver and encoder faults, temperature sensing, seals and cooling paths, and reassembly with runout and balance checks.
Motor and inverter together
A motor failure often starts in the inverter and vice versa. We test both, which a workshop that only does one of them cannot. Our industrial practice already covers three-phase and submersible motors, generator stators and transformer windings.
Diagnostics
Insulation resistance (megger) testing, winding resistance balance, thermal imaging under load, and power-quality measurement of the drive output.
When rewinding is the answer
Where a winding is genuinely failed, we strip, rewind to specification, test and balance — standard work in our motor practice.
Questions we are asked
Can an EV traction motor be rewound?
Where the winding has failed, yes — strip-down, insulation testing, rewinding to specification, bearings and balancing.
Our EV has a drive-unit fault but no clear code. Can you diagnose it?
Yes: we test the motor, its position sensing and the inverter driving it as one system, which is where ambiguous faults usually resolve.
Do you service electric bus and truck drive units?
Yes — larger machines are closer to the industrial equipment we already service.
Do you replace bearings and seals?
Yes, with runout and balance checks on reassembly.
