A traction inverter is a three-phase IGBT bridge with gate drivers and a control board — the same architecture as the industrial drives we repair every week.
What we repair
Power modules and IGBT or SiC stages, gate driver boards, DC-link capacitors, current sensors, resolver and encoder interfaces, pre-charge and contactor control, and the control board and its firmware interfaces.
Why we can do this
We repair the identical device family inside variable frequency drives, soft starters, UPS systems and telecom rectifiers for mines, utilities and a contracted telecom operator. Component-level power-electronics repair is the core of the business, not a sideline.
Typical faults
Vehicle in limp mode or refusing to move, overcurrent and isolation faults, a shorted phase leg, failed gate drive on one phase, inverter that works cold and trips hot, and damage following a contactor or pre-charge failure.
Testing
Repairs are run under load before return, with the results recorded on the repair report — not cleared on the bench and sent back.

Can an EV inverter be repaired rather than replaced?
Yes. The common failures — power modules, gate drivers, DC-link capacitors, current sensors — are component-level repairs.
Do you repair the power control unit as a whole?
Yes, including the DC-DC converter and charger sections where they are integrated into the same unit.
What about SiC inverters?
The diagnostic approach is the same; device availability determines whether a repair or a redesign is the better route, and we say which.
How long does an inverter repair take?
Standard 5–7 business days from drop-off, 48–72 hours priority under a maintenance agreement.
