Telecom radio units opened on the HCS bench
Travis Labs · Telecom

Site power and radio equipment, repaired in Lusaka.

Rectifiers, site monitoring units, remote radio units, baseband units and RF amplifiers fail every week across Zambia's networks. Replacing them means forex, lead time and downtime. We repair them.

Status

The telecom bench is live.

  • MTN Zambia — contracted client on a framework repair agreement with a published fee schedule; batches of equipment in the workshop.
  • Zamtel, IHS Towers, Infratel — proof-of-concept repairs completed or under way.
  • MultiChoice — high-end RF power amplifiers from transmitter stations received for evaluation repair.

Turnaround, warranty and unit pricing are set out in the framework fee schedule. Ask for it.

Why local

Forex, lead time, downtime.

A failed rectifier shipped abroad takes weeks and dollars. On our bench it is diagnosed the day it arrives, repaired, tested at load and returned with a report per serial number.
