When the OEM said "discontinued"
Pump-station contactor control cards kept burning out and the manufacturer had stopped making them. Travis Labs reverse-engineered the card, designed a new PCB and firmware, and built a replacement in Lusaka. Deployed since February 2026 — zero failures.

A telecom repair bench in Lusaka
Rectifier modules, site monitoring units and radio units used to leave the country for repair or get scrapped. HCS set up a component-level telecom repair bench: MTN Zambia is a contracted client on a framework repair agreement; Zamtel, IHS Towers and Infratel are in proof-of-concept; MultiChoice has RF amplifiers on the bench.
