Electric mobility

EV fleet maintenance for institutions and companies in Zambia

The directive buys the vehicles. Keeping them running needs battery, power-electronics and charging capability inside Zambia — under an SLA, with reporting per vehicle.

What a fleet agreement covers

Scheduled inspection of packs, HV systems, chargers and drive units; battery state-of-health reporting per vehicle; charger maintenance; emergency breakdown response under an SLA; and a quarterly report on which vehicles and which batteries are costing you.

Before you buy

We advise on procurement specification: battery data and diagnostic access, module-level serviceability, state-of-health reporting, charger specification matched to your supply, spare module availability, and a local service and training plan. Those clauses decide your cost of ownership far more than the purchase price.

Charging infrastructure as part of the fleet

Depot charging designed as a power system — sizing, protection, load management, metering per user or per department, and solar or battery backup so the fleet charges through load-shedding.

Your own technicians

Over 300 engineers and technicians have been trained by our training division. Fleet and workshop teams can be trained on lithium packs, BMS, chargers, inverters and HV safety, on their own equipment.

Where we work: Lusaka and across Zambia — mining, water utilities, telecom, manufacturing, food and beverage, milling and government sites. Workshop at Plot No. 34, Harrison Chongo Road, Nyumbayanga, Lusaka. Call or WhatsApp +260 974 546 632, or email sales@hcsys.co.

Questions we are asked

Can you maintain a government or institutional EV fleet?

Yes, under a framework agreement with published terms: scheduled inspection, battery health reporting, charger maintenance and SLA breakdown response.

What should we specify when tendering for EVs?

Battery and diagnostic data access, documented module-level serviceability, state-of-health reporting, charger specification matched to your supply, spare module availability, and a local service and training plan.

Can you report battery health per vehicle?

Yes — state of health, charge cycles and temperature history per vehicle, reported for management and audit.

Do you handle both the vehicles and the charging infrastructure?

Yes. One contractor for packs, power electronics, chargers and the supply behind them.
