Electronics and PCB design in Zambia — replacements for discontinued boards
Schematic capture, multilayer PCB layout, embedded firmware and small-batch build, on a bench whose boards ship to the United States every month.

Replacement boards for discontinued equipment
When an OEM has stopped making a control or firing card, we capture the schematic from the failed board, redesign it with components available today and build a drop-in replacement. The Lusaka Water contactor coil economizer is one: deployed February 2026, zero failures since.
Full-stack design
Schematic capture, multilayer PCB layout, embedded firmware, bench test and documentation — with enclosure design for field and panel mounting, and support through local and international certification.
Battery and power electronics
Battery management systems with cell monitoring, balancing and protection; buck, boost and SMPS designs from 3.3 V to 48 V at up to 10 A; custom controllers for industrial and IoT applications.
Proof this is real engineering
Our boards are exported monthly to a client in Texas, silkscreened "Designed in Zambia, Assembled in USA". The power fabric of our Zabble training board is published in Springer Nature's Discover Electronics.
Questions we are asked
Can you copy a board we can no longer buy?
We do not copy — we reverse-engineer the function and design a new board with current components, usually more robust than the original.
Do you write the firmware too?
Yes. Schematic, layout, firmware, test and documentation are all done in-house.
Can you build in volume?
We build small batches in-house and are commissioning in-house PCB fabrication; larger runs are produced through partners to our design files.
Who owns the design?
That is agreed in writing before the work starts and depends on how the project is funded.
